Fastest gas leak detection for CO₂ protective gas in food packaging

The V3 gas sen­sor detects even the smal­lest CO₂ gas leaks in food pack­a­ging. Lea­king CO₂ pro­tec­ti­ve gas is detec­ted within mil­li­se­conds. This enables fas­ter pro­duc­tion cycles and the detec­tion of smal­ler leaks.

You can choo­se bet­ween gas sen­sors for 1000 ppm, 2000 ppm and 5000 ppm CO2 with a detec­tion thres­hold of 1 –10 ppm CO₂ .

Response time versus accuracy

Using adjus­ta­ble digi­tal fil­ter con­fi­gu­ra­ti­ons, the sensor’s respon­se time can be adapt­ed to the sys­tem cycle. The lon­ger mea­su­re­ment time of the gas sen­sor fur­ther redu­ces the detec­tion thres­hold for the CO₂ pro­tec­ti­ve gas signi­fi­cant­ly to below 1 ppm CO₂.

Reliably detect leaks smaller than 1 µm

Thanks to the sensor’s sen­si­ti­vi­ty, leaks with a dia­me­ter of less than 1 µm are relia­bly detec­ted within 1–2 seconds. Leaky pack­a­ging can thus be relia­bly sor­ted out.
